The key to this is the M autocombo, which changes the properties of Trunk's 214S. Normally it wall sticks then they drop straight off, but the autocombo causes them to bounce out, letting you pick up from about 1/3 to the corner. You do not have to use the superdash here to pick up but it makes it easier, especially on some characters, so this is kind of a demonstration of the "easy" route listed in the 7112 video too.
MMM (autocombo) dash 2M 5M 5H Superdash j.L,L (autocombo) j.2H, dj.L,L (autocombo) j.S (cancel immediately) j.214L (slight delay) j.L,L (autocombo) Assist, delay, j236M
The damage will be higher if you manage to use the optimal 5H 5S 214L j.L connector.
