Join us virtually as NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, in partnership with The Astronauts Memorial Foundation, hosts a Day of Remembrance ceremony at the Space Mirror Memorial at Kennedy’s Visitor Complex on Thursday, Jan. 23 at 10 a.m. EST.
The event honors the crews of Apollo 1 and space shuttles Challenger and Columbia, as well as other astronauts who lost their lives in the pursuit of spaceflight.
The ceremony will include remarks from Kelvin Manning, Acting Center Director at Kennedy Space Center, and Tal Ramon, son of Israeli astronaut Ilan Ramon, space shuttle Columbia.
Following the commemoration, a wreath-laying ceremony will occur at the Space Mirror Memorial.
