First holiday jam! After the last couple of sets I felt a little burnt out, so while I have quite a comprehensive setup with me, I ended up not playing much, and playing in bed with just the Syntakt when I did. On several evenings I came back to these sounds and these rhythms, so I thought I should finally record it. I’m in Greece for another couple of weeks but unfortunately I’m not sure I’ll get another chance to record with a nice background.
I went with quite dubby sounds but did not keep the rhythm section chilled in the slightest. I keep milking the polymeter I came up with on the Bagfest set, not /quite/ bored of it yet.
I used the Dual VCO machine for my kicks, which allowed me to blend between two kicks at will, I may have to be doing that more often, it’s quite versatile.
It’s all Syntakt, recorded into my PC, no further processing.
