This was the closing set of Made in Notts, a very fun little event showcasing Nottingham producers at The Model, in Hockley.
I love that venue. It’s small, it’s friendly, and it manages to feel simultaneously like a friendly bar and a club.
The start of the set didn’t work out how I wanted, things rarely do when I work them out on headphones and then hit a big sound system, but I soon got into my rhythm and hit a fair few sequences that sounded lovely and hypnotic.
The recording was annoyingly clipped in quite a few places, it didn’t sound clipped at the venue so I suspect I need to check the settings.
