Hey guys, super quick tutorial I decided to make after some frustrating trying to load individual image stills as clips into Davinci Resolve 20. The issue is, is that sequentially numbered images load into the smart bin as sequences (video), not clips as still frames.
To solve this, clear the images temporarily out of the media pool, go to "Media Pool" tab, select the 3 dots and change frame display mode as "Individuals" not "Sequences". Reimport your media.
This should then correctly have all individual images appear in your pool with the designated timeline duration set in your program preferences. To change this duration, go to the upper left Davinci Resolve Menu, then Preferences. Select User, then Editing, and change the time for Image Stills duration. You may need to restart DR but then can find your images all coming in at suitable length.
