Dave Ferrucci is an award-winning AI researcher and computer scientist known for leading the team behind IBM’s Watson, which famously defeated Jeopardy champions in 2011. After nearly two decades at IBM’s T.J. Watson Research Center, he founded Elemental Cognition in 2015. As Founder, CEO, and Chief Scientist, Ferrucci is advancing AI beyond machine learning. With over 50 patents and numerous publications, he’s earned titles such as IBM Fellow and awards like the AAAI Feigenbaum Prize.
