David Cantens (born 22 October 1980) is an actor and minimalist, cinematic composer based in Belgium.
In his work he is trying to connect the sounds of minimal piano with cinematic, emotional elements. He has been playing the piano since the age of 6 and started at the age of 17 to write his own music. At 21 he finished drama school and begin a career as Belgian actor. His music tries to tell pure, authentic and minimal stories.
