Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity presents us with Daruk's indomitable protection, and it's put to great use on the battlefield. The ability to be immune to all forms of damage allows players to stay toe-to-toe with the biggest threats, and choice combos will allow Daruk to handily wear down the opponents until the inevitably crack. If you like an engaging experience, and a playstyle that encourages spontaneous decision making over pre-planned setups, Daruk is ready to roll!
So what is the “Warrior Showcase”, exactly? I wanted to make a new commentary series geared specifically towards "newer" players beginning their first steps into progressing the game. This primarily focuses on the strengths of a particular moveset, and give new players a taste of what’s waiting for them if they decide to invest heavily in their favourite warrior. I wanted to make this series similar to how we tackled Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edition and Fire Emblem Warriors, where we look at each character from a long-term perspective.
Got any suggestions or feedback? Feel free to leave a comment below and I'll try to respond as soon as I can! Or, check me out on Twitter and give me a shout! ^^ // twitter.com/FullMetalYoukai
