The Unusual Suspects (DD2) is a ,,damage-stress" team, here are roles of characters:
1st: Man at arms (Spiked shield + damage trinket) - supporteer
2nd: Highwayman (damage trinkets) - damage dealer
3rd: Grave robber (dodge trinket + accuracy trinket) - stress dealer
4th: Plague doctor (accuracy trinket + stress trinket) - healer
PROS:
1) Porcupine
2) Great damage output
3) Great stress output
4) Great DoT output
5) 3 disruptors
6) 2 deathblowers
CONS:
1) Stress is a menace
2) DoT is a menace
3) Stuns are a menace
4) Marks are a menace
5) RNGsus is a menace
6) Low healing potential
The Unusual Suspects (DD2) is a damage team, that combines also stress and DoT. You have 3 disruptors, 2 deathblowers and 2 riposters, but only one healer. This team is weak against EVERY possible team, no matter on player’s rank.
I tried to play a few strategies, like „full stress“, „mix damage + DoT“, „the finishers“ and „porcupine“. None of these strategies works, you just need luck.
My advice: Uninstall the game and go live your life.
This team… I never played Darkest Dungeon 2, but I know, this is the starting team, that you can create in your 1st playthrough. And someone on the internet said, that you cannot beat any boss with this team. And I can only agree. The whole squadron of fools have low accuracy and only ONE healer. Plague doctor is an easy target, your stress tactic will never work, with porcupine you have very low chances to win, and I tried even different variantions of characters (stresser/damager Grave robber / Man at arms, bandit/gunslinger Highwayman). When I was starting this showcase, I was on the top of darkest rank, after fighting, I’m back at the bottom.
YOU CANNOT WIN MATCHES AGAINST HARDER OPPONENTS (veteran-darkest)!!! I tried, but only few darkest player is my queue played a decent team, the others… meh, LAME based teams. But don’t you worry, even novice players can beat you easily, like me, because RNGsus. I’m glad, that I manage these victories.
This is the perfect example, the team from other game don’t work in Butcher’s Circus. I don’t recommend this trash.
