While using the blood infused Carthus CGS I was able to proc bleed on a notable amount of people but I found that the hollow infused version was better overall with this build. Ultimately this was because bleed damage for most people was only a little bit more in value than a R1 from the hollow version. Where it was clear which one was better though was seeing an average of 100ish less damage from the blood version. On a weapon that is relatively easy to dodge lower damage is a horrible trait. The hollow version is even more versatile as you can switch between Carthus Rogue which provides nearly the same bleed value, or a damage buff resin/bundle for extra damage.
Something that was notably surprising was the crit value of Frayed Blade was notably high and did more damage than the hollow Carthus CGS, with the only exception being if I had buffed the Carthus with a gold pine bundle before the riposte.
