This fight is tedious as hell so I decided to test out Red Tearstone Ring here. It doesn't actually add much damage.. It's only 20% now. All of the percentage base attack buffs were nerfed heavily in Dark Souls 2.

Pursuer's Ultra Greatsword does a ton of damage.. it's moveset is a little awkward but it makes up for it with one of the highest Attack Ratings and 140 counter modifier.
