Time for the last bit of footage of World 4, in good old fashioned "longplay style", like you guys like it. Yeah, I said I'd make short vids from now on, but not only the public didn't quite like it, but they also took longer to edit, so I changed my mind again :)) As far as the game goes, it's currently on hold until a new version is released, which hopefully answers some of the complaints I have with this one, as it's currently impossible to beat ! Cheers.

In my last video I went through Nmnmoohs World U for the first time. It was an OK experience to be fair, at least on the easy mode which seemed just right to me. However, what left me scratching my head was the ending : I went down a pipe in the castle and I got to a screen with just a message saying that Bowser was still alive and that was about it - the world ended there. I thought thats just the way it was meant to be, so I never gave it second thought until I got some comments saying I was supposed to go down a different pipe in the castle to get to the real boss, so of course I had to try again to get the proper ending. I said I wanted to try a higher difficulty setting, but after doing so a couple of times and failing each time, I got pissed and just went with the easy version again. Even so, it took me quite a few tries to finally win ! The levels themselves are pretty easy, but the boss is where the world takes a very steep learning curve. While it took me a lot of time to get the hang of it, I have to admit it only took some practice before I was finally able to defeat Bowser. The biggest issue is, once again, the lack of continues, so if you run out of lives during the final battle, you have to go through the whole world again, because theres no way of getting any more lives once you make it to Bowser. Its not so bad on easy, its just tedious, but imagine playing on the normal or hard settings, where the difficulty of the regular levels themselves is brutal ! Nobody feels like playing the early stages again and THEN fight the boss ! You just want another shot at Bowser right away, but instead you have no choice but to get sent back to square one. Next time Ill definitely have a go at the normal version, since I promised Id do so for so long. Im pretty sure Ill get my ass kicked and the video will turn into a fail video, but who knows ? With a bit of luck and with the skill Ive accumulated by beating the game once, I might be able to do it. Make sure you stay tuned ! :D Mario Forever : World U by Nmnmooh Walkthrough (Good Ending) [HD]](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/az_s6HMcADA/mqdefault.jpg)

There hasnt been a new vid on DGV for quite a while now due to some family matters, but now Dannys back in business, so : in my first vid of Mario Forever 2014 I briefly mentioned this world as well, though back then I thought it was World 1.0. After a closer look, I discovered its actually World 10 (theres no dot). Upon first glance you might think this is the same World 10 as before, but instead its a totally different one. The original was made by Syzxchulun, while this one is made by 2233, the guy who made Human Lab 2 and the main game MF 2014, which includes this one too. Theres nothing too special about this world, but that doesnt mean its bad either. Theres only one major issue and that is level 3 : shortly after the start, theres a platform thats supposed to start moving to the right when you step on it, however this doesnt happen ! You can jump around on that platform all you want, but its not going to budge. The only time I saw it moving is after I fell in the water and died, which is just fuckin teasing me ! I think the problem is that the trigger point that activates the platform when Mario reaches it, is placed too far to the right, so theres no way to reach it without falling and dying. Because theres no alternate way around that platform, I couldnt get past that level, so I had to end the walkthrough prematurely. its a shame, because the levels are enjoyable and fun to play, at least the ones I was able to play, so I really wanted to see more. Im sure its easy to fix and Ill shortly be given a patched version to play, but until then, thats about it for this world. Danny out. Heres the last area to cover in Mario Forever Remake: World 10 by Syzxchulun. Its not very different from the original game, but that doesnt mean its easy ! It starts off OK, but once youre about half way through...my God, does it get hard ! The last castle in particular is ridiculous: about half way through, the screen goes almost completely dark ! Like that wasnt enough, there are loose stones dropping from the ceiling, narrow platforms and a butt-load of cannons, so you have to be really patient and have nerves of steel. To top it all off, they made Bowser insanely difficult too, as if the level wasnt already hard enough: he moves very fast and fires very rapidly, with most of his shots being three-way shots ! Seriously, whose idea was this ? One final kick in the balls is that theres no checkpoint before Bowser, so if you die fighting him, which is very likely, you have to go through the most difficult portion of the castle AGAIN ! It doesnt get any more frustrating than that. The lack of checkpoints has always been a pet-peeve of mine, but when it happens right before a hard boss, theres no excuse ! Bottom line: add some checkpoints, damn it ! Other than that, theres not a whole lot more to say about World 10 - its not bad, but holy shit, is it hard ! Danny rulez ! TheMarioVariable: https://themariovariable.altervista.org/
Heres a short and simple world by Mariovariable. It sat in my inbox of requests for ages until I decided to do some more Mario videos. I chose this one because it seemed nice and straightforward, which is what I wanted. I didnt want something too elaborate that would require a whole series to make, like The Minus Worlds or some other big projects like that - not after taking such a big break from playing any Mario games.
World Y is plain and standard - thats it. Nothing more, nothing less. Its not a BAD world by any means, no way, but it doesnt stand out either. Actually, one thing that DOES stand out is a glitch in the game that causes it to automatically reset when youre down to 0 lives, so instead of getting one more try, you get sent back to the menu screen. Thats like having one less life by default ! To be honest, it wasnt nearly as annoying as I was expecting it to be, because the game saves your progress and starts you off at the last level you reached, so its not THAT much of a big deal, but still counts as a flaw. Danny is ready to take on the fourth of the Roman Worlds. Since this one might take longer to finally complete, it shall be split across several shorter vids like this in order to encourage you guys to watch the whole thing - no need to have an hour-long video containing nothing but fail material. Also, terribly sorry, but the first level had to sped up again, since I tried uploading the vid with just the pitch shift and it still got detected, so I had to up the tempo as well...I wasnt expecting that to happen, but apparently theres something about that song that youtube can detect even in a different tone. Anyway, hope you guys will understand and not go too critical on me. Cheers guys. Mario Forever: The Roman Worlds - World 4 Walkthrough (Part1) [HD]](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/f6tYFbS75mc/mqdefault.jpg)

Heres another game in the Softendo family: New Super Mario Forever. As you may have guessed from the title, its similar to New Super Mario Bros on the Wii, though I wouldnt call it a rip-off since it doesnt actually copy anything directly from the Wii game - it borrows the concept, enemies and powerups and reuses them in its own way to create something new. The overall concept is the same as Super Mario Bros 3 on the NES: same map format with 8 different worlds and 7 sons of Bowser you have to defeat, same enemies and even some levels look the same, so youll feel at home with this one. Graphically speaking, the game is decent, considering what it is, though the animations of Mario walking and jumping look a bit off and I noticed a lot of people making fun of this in the comments. Gameplay-wise, one thing I can say I dont like is how the screen takes too long to pan when you jump to the top - it freezes for about 1 second before it finally reorients. This could cost you a hit if you jump right into an enemy that you cant see - it should adjust instantly to keep Mario in the middle of the screen at all time. The music and sounds are very good as well: you get musical variety and the quality of the soundtracks is awesome. One thing they decided to change and I dont really appreciate is the sounds Mario makes when jumping (stuff like Ah ! Yeah ! HoUh !). Since its a platform game where you jump a lot, they tend to get irritating after a while and you cant turn them off - you have to turn off all other sound effects too. I would have much preferred the traditional jump sound effects of all the other games, or at least have an option to toggle the voice on and off, independent of the sound effects. Another thing that ruins what would otherwise be a great Mario fan game is the overwhelming amount of spelling and grammar errors - thought NES games were bad at this when they got ported from their japanese versions ? Well, look again: the word order is incorrect and many words are misspelled, making the messages incoherent and even confusing to read, especially in the early levels where youre given instructions on how to perform certain moves - I actually had to read a message twice before figuring out how to do the wall jump. Im aware the maker of the game is not a native English speaker, but couldnt he at least get someone to proof-read the game before releasing it to the public ? I kinda smell Google Translate here ! To be perfectly fair its not too much of a problem as far as playability is concerned, because its the gameplay that counts in Mario games and not so much the dialogues. If it were an RPG like Castlevania where you had to rely on clues and dialogues to progress, then yes, it would be a big issue indeed, but in an action-oriented game like this, we can let it slide. Other than that, theres no need to go into great detail about the game since its self explanatory - if you dont know how to play a Mario game then you shouldnt call yourself a gamer ! Aside from the F it gets in grammar, the game gets an overall A from Daniels Game Vault. Softendo pretty much did everything they could to recreate a Wii game on the PC, which is no easy task considering how complex it is, so for that I can only applaud them ! Well done ! ![Neighbours From Hell PC Walkthrough: Season 3 (100% All Episodes) [HD]
FACEBOOK : https://www.facebook.com/DanielsGameVault
Neighbours From Hell is a popular PC game released by JoWood. Its about a guy named Woody who plays all kinds of pranks on his neighbour, Mr. Rottweiler. To do this, Woody infiltrates the neighbours house (along with a TV crew apparently) and uses various objects he comes across to set up traps ranging from classic (whoopee cushions, banana peels, soap and marbles on the floor) to the most devious, such as superglue in aftershave, laxatives in beer and red wine in the washing machine, just to name a few. The goal in each level (or episodes as theyre referred to) is to reach a certain rating before you can advance to the next one. Ideally, you want the rating to be 100%. Whenever the neighbour falls into one of the traps Woody has set, the rating goes up by an amount. Rottweilers anger meter in the bottom left also goes up all the way before slowly going back down. If he walks into another trap before the meter depletes you get a combo bonus, which adds an extra 3% to the rating. There is a maximum number of tricks you can pull off in each episode, indicated in the bottom right, in yellow. If the rating has already reached the minimum value required to beat the level, you can actually leave the house without pulling off every single trick and the level still counts as complete. If you fail to reach the minimum rating, you have to replay the episode. Another way of failing an episode is getting caught by the neighbour himself: if Woody and Rottweiler end up in the same room, the levels over, regardless of the rating at that point. Woody can hide in the wardrobe or under the bed in order to avoid getting busted by Rottweiler when he steps into that room. Of course, if you get out from these hiding spots while Rottweiler is still in the room, the jig is up and Woody gets his @$$ handed to him. Another thing to watch out for is the neighbours pet parrot or dog, which show up in seasons 2 and 3 respectively: if you step into the room like you normally would, the pet wakes up and alerts the neighbour and he will rush in to check whats going on, regardless of where he is in the house. If you get out of the room before the neighbour comes in, no problem: he just walks in, realizes theres nobody there, scolds the pet for the false alarm and carries on with his routine. Its not always good to wake the animal, as it may distract the neighbour from a trap hes just about to walk in, which could disrupt your combo. The parrot and dog never show up together in the same episode - its either one or the other, although the room they are in varies between episodes. To avoid waking the pet entirely use the right mouse button instead of the left when giving Woody a command in that room: this makes Woody sneak instead of walk, which wont wake up the pet, but also slows you down considerably ! The early episodes only include a part of the neighbours house, but as the game progresses more rooms open up, which means more ground to cover and more traps to set. Some rooms have 2 or even 3 doorways, which makes avoiding the neighbour easy, but others like the bathroom or the basement, have only one way out, so you could find yourself stuck in a dead end as the neighbour comes in and whoops your @$$. To get a 100% rating the tricks have to be played in a specific order so you get as many anger-combos as possible. Some levels are linear, so you can simply set the traps in the order in which the neighbour goes through his routine and just sit back and watch. In later levels, the neighbour wanders all around the house, so you must set up your tricks on the fly an know exactly the best moment for each one. Aside from getting caught by the neighbour, another way of failing a level is by running out of time. The time limit varies depending on the number of tricks and the complexity of each episode. Fortunately, you have the option to turn off the time limit entirely if you cant seem to beat it. The timer definitely adds challenge to the game, as you have to analyze the neighbours patterns and rig up his house all in one go, which is not easy, especially if you havent played the game before ! Once you know where and when to set up the traps, you can pretty much get 100% each time you play, because theres no difficulty settings you can alter and Rottweilers routine never changes. With that being said, the game is really awesome and addictive as hell (pun intended), but unfortunately its a bit too short for my taste. Understandably, the game is limited to the neighbours house, so there were only so many situations they could imagine the two characters in. The good news is that theres a sequel: Neighbours from Hell 2, which takes place all around the world, instead of just Rottweilers house, which definitely offers more possibilities. Bottom line is that the game is great and just damn-fun to play ! Try it out - youll be hooked for sure ! After a pretty disappointing experience with the first version of MF 2015, I was eager to try version 2.7 hoping that at least some of the bugs from the previous version were fixed. I was about to be disappointed once again, though this time its even worse, because this is supposed to be an update and updates should do just that: iron over any flaws from the original work. This is not the case here: with the exception of the save system which works now, all the other issues I had the first time have been carried over, making this release completely unjustified. Even worse, I couldnt finish World 4 and not because I sucked and gave up, but because of a bug which causes you to fall through some platforms that are the only way across a gap, making progress impossible past that point. If this were still beta, I would be slightly more tolerant (even though platform jumping is one of the most basic things which MUST work no matter what), but the fact that this claims to be a redesign and you cant finish it because of a simple bug, HUGELY diminishes the tolerance Im willing to grant it ! Such a blunder is enough to make the game flop miserably right there, but on top of that youve got other common flaws which suggest a poorly designed game. Admittedly, some of these bugs are minor and cosmetic and they dont affect the gameplay, but even those are only acceptable up to the beta stage - anything after that should be smooth and polished. If I were to draw a list of issues, from major to minor, these would be: falling through platforms (which automatically makes the game impossible to beat), no continues (as usual), not becoming invincible after crossing the marker at the end of the level (which caused me to die once), very few coins and extra lives in the later stages, no checkpoints in some levels, some parts which require you to shrink yourself to pass through (which is totally not fair and annoying), soundtracks that are too quiet or levels with no soundtrack at all, no level-complete sound in some levels, random sound effects, missing coin counter in World 3 and grammar errors on the start-up screen...theres probably more if I were REALLY nitpicking, but thats already enough to sum up the whole game. Im sorry, and feel free to defend it if you want, but the proof is pretty solid - you can clearly see this is a low-quality game ! Take a great game, such as The Minus Worlds and compare it to this: the difference is night-and-day, and the fact that another designer managed to deliver an awesome game means it CAN be done - it wasnt a matter of time or technology !.......NOT good....Massive work needs to be done before this can be considered THE 2015 version of Mario Forever ! Try it at your own risk, but I can assure you that you wont be satisfied, especially if youve played a proper MF game (and if you want that, try The Fuckin Minus Worlds !). Danny out.
