After a pretty disappointing experience with the first version of MF 2015, I was eager to try version 2.7 hoping that at least some of the bugs from the previous version would be fixed. I was about to be disappointed once again, though this time it's even worse, because this is supposed to be an update and updates should do just that: fix any flaws from the original work. This is not the case here: with the exception of the save system which works now, all of the other problems I've mentioned the first time have been carried over, making this release completely unjustified. Even worse, I couldn't finish World 4 and not because I sucked and gave up, but because of a bug which causes you to fall through some platforms that are the only way across a gap, making progress impossible past that point. If this were still beta, I would be slightly more tolerant (even though platform jumping would STILL be one of the most basic things that should work no matter what), but the fact that this claims to be a redesign and you can't finish it because of a simple bug, HUGELY diminishes the tolerance level ! So such a blunder is enough to make the game flop miserably, but on top of that you've got other common flaws that hint a poorly designed game. Admittedly, some of these bugs are minor and "cosmetic" and they don't affect the gameplay, but even those are only acceptable up to the beta stage - anything after that should be smooth and polished. If I were to draw a list of flaws to be fixed, from major to minor, these would be: falling through platforms (which automatically makes the game impossible to beat), no continues (as usual), not becoming invincible after crossing the marker at the end (which caused me to die once), very few coins and extra lives in the later stages, no checkpoints in some levels, some parts which require you to shrink yourself to pass through (which is totally not fair and annoying), soundtracks that are too quiet or don't play at all, no level-complete sound in some levels, random sound effects, missing coin counter in World 3 and grammar errors on the start-up screen...there's probably more than that if I were to be REALLY nitpicking, but that's already enough to denote a game that's been rushed out. I'm sorry, and feel free to defend it if you want, but the proof is pretty solid - you can clearly see this is a low-quality game ! Take a great game, such as "The Minus Worlds" and compare it to this: the difference is night-and-day, and the fact that another designer managed to deliver an awesome game means it CAN be done - it wasn't a time or technology constraint !.......NOT good....Massive work needs to be done before this can be considered THE 2015 version of Mario Forever ! Try it at your own risk, but I can assure you that you won't be satisfied, especially if you've played a proper MF game (and if you want that, try "The Fuckin' Minus Worlds" !). Danny out.

Heres World U on the normal setting. I promised Id have a look at it, so here it is. It took me a lot of tries and lots of anger, but every time I failed I actually gained more experience which enabled me to finally beat it. As much as I thought this would be impossible to beat, its actually not THAT exaggerated, it just takes a lot of practice and patience. I did lose it once and actually broke the keyboard shelf by punching it (no joke !), but the keyboard survived, so dont worry, no keyboards were hurt in the making of this vid. Hope you enjoy my pain - subscribe for that !")

These are the 4 other levels bundled with World O by Mariovariable : level C-3, G-1, J-5 and another untitled level. Theyre supposed to serve as previews for upcoming games, so theyll either be all included in the same game, or each will be part of its own letter world, which is more likely judging by the letters in their names and given the fact that none of these letters have been released yet officially. Since these are just 1-level demos, theyre hard to comment on : theyre good overall, with just some minor bugs to fix, such as the ever-lasting issue with the music volume in some areas and the LUI jump-suit messing up the game in the level J (I only tried it here by accident, so I dont know if it happens in the other areas as well). Thats about all I can say : good presentation so far, so lets see what comes of these. Danny out.")

Last time we started playing a new release of Mario Forever 2014 and I said the next vid would be about World 11 by 2233, so here it is as promised. I already played World 10, its predecessor, back when I did the original version of MF 2014, and just like that one, World 11 has nothing to do with the two number worlds by Syzxchulun. What can I say ? Theres nothing too special about it to be honest - neither good nor bad. I didnt encounter any glitches or bugs, which wouldve been unacceptable, since this claims to be a revised version with all the bugs from the original worked out. The world definitely has a thing for traps in the form of falling blocks or platforms. Since the loose sprites look exactly the same as the normal ones, its impossible to tell which are going to fall the first time playing. Every such trap you come across requires you to die at first almost every time, which may seem annoying and cheap when youre playing, but objectively speaking, trial and error is something thats required in many games, so its acceptable. After a while youll actually get better at predicting where the fake blocks are, either because they are arranged the same way every time, or its plainly obvious (like a row of blocks across a pit - it doesnt take a genius to figure out those will drop), so your mind will instantly tell you that youve encountered that setup before and youll proceed with caution. Of course, it suffers from the same issues as all the other fan games Ive seen so far : a complete lack of 1-UPs or continues - like at least have one or the other ! Still, with practice youll eventually beat it even with the 4 lives you get, but there will undeniably be times when youll feel the need for some extra ones. Bottom line, this ones not bad - definitely didnt drive me crazy like others did, and the fact that its playable from start to finish makes it worthy of bearing the seal of approval. Time to close the MF Remake series by playing the 4 remaining extra levels by Mariovariable : Gray Columns, Bounce Parody, Sun Run and Mario vs. Time. I also did a starman run just for fun, but you might want to fix this area, because whenever you start it up, the whole program freezes for 15 whole seconds before the level actually starting ! It happens every single time you die and go back to the beginning, not just the first time, so its really a problem, especially in a world where youre likely to die a lot ! Gents and ladies, quick and dirty one for you here: World V by 552x. I did cut down on the quality of this vid a lot because obviously some of you guys dont appreciate, or perhaps dont realize, the amount of work that goes into making these vids, so I decided not to work my fingers to the bone anymore. DGV started off as a little channel where I just recorded some games and posted random footage of them so everybody can start a nice conversation and have a good time, but sadly there are some ****** out there who want to ruin all that for everybody by attacking my channel and my vids in various ways, so I just figured that if some of my vids get so much hate, then I must be doing something wrong and I should stop doing that, whatever it is.....f-it, I could even play a game and not even upload it, just because some guys dont deserve it and Ill keep all that fun for myself. Its a shame that weve got some really nice fans out there, but there are 1-2 pieces of ****** out there (with Youtube in the lead !) who ruin all that, but Im bored talking about them, so enough ranting for today. Maybe next time Ill be a bit calmer and give you guys a proper vid, but for now this is all you get, just as a little reminder that I havent lost any brain cells yet and that kindergarten antics dont faze me at all.
