On the 4th episode of Cyberpunk 2077 booster gangs explained (under 3 minutes) I will cover the 6th street gang. We still don't know much about them so far but I did my best to explain the most important bits.

The 6th Street Gang were founded as old-fashioned American patriots who came together as an ad hoc civil police force. That is clearly no longer the case in 2077. Nowadays they are no better than the other gangs who abuse their power and position in local communities.

They regularly force smaller neighborhood businesses to pay tribute and ‘protection money’, and they’re known to engage in various shady and outright criminal activities.

The 6th street philosophy and structure was forged in the mid 2020s by veterans of the Fourth Corporate War (which by the way, will soon be a topic of one of my videos). The gang was created to keep thugs at bay, and its charismatic founders gave the people a way to protect themselves. Today the majority of the 2000 gang members are veterans of more recent conflicts, retired military and discharged corporate security. The rest of the members are civilians who were provided military training after joining the gang. Their main motivation is still (and I quote) “bring justice to the city” whatever that even means. The 6th Street main headquarters are in Arroyo, but they have patrols roaming nearby districts to provide intel and security.
Their main source of income include activities like robbery, extortion and gun smuggling. So charming. Because of their need for fresh supplies from outside Night City, the group has extensive connections with multiple Nomad groups. The gang also steals and modifies cars. 6th Street has very talented techies, and runs many garages and workshops around the city. So, now you know who and where you should search for that ultimate tuning on the Quadra-turbo you just stole.

They also offer combat taxi services which has made them especially popular among edgerunners and mercenaries.

Despite their criminal nature, the gang is mostly tolerated by corpos and police forces, as long as they keep their sh*t inside their own territory.

Corporations like the Militec have a steady demand for new guns and the NCPD have one less district to worry about. Win-win-win I guess.
