Cyberlegends is the user meet / computer fair put together on the Exxos forum. There is often a bit of an Atari-bias on account of that forum's origins, but the main thrust of the meeting is retro hardware and modern updates to that.
For 2025 the meet was held in the village of Toddington, about 40 miles north of London in the UK.
I went along to show off what I've been working on hardware-wise and took some video of a number of the other exhibitors.

Old PLCC sockets tend to produce bad contacts after a while. Either simply through age, use or abuse (see my DIP STE adapter and PiStorm STE videos!)
The correct answer is to replace or retension the sockets as the sprung contacts have been pushed back over time.
However theres a much faster workaround for a short-term win.
Dont rely on this for your space probe, though...
