This might be the only reason to get a SteamVR compatible headset like the HTC VIVE or or one of the Microsoft Mixed Reality OEM variants from Acer, HP, Dell, Lenovo, Samsung, and soon ASUS & Toshiba .
To pet the cutest cyber puppy ever made.
Okay, maybe there are other reasons, but after months of testing, I have finally found a power board that provides enough power for the 12VDC rail (aprox 130W). Don't be fooled by the nominal power specs by Intel , NVIDIA GeForce and OEM board makers, especially those that overclock their video cards. In saying that, my GIGABYTE low profile GTX105 ti 4GB performs just as well as 4GB 1060, except only draws 60-85 watts. Add this with the latest MSXR driver for Steam, as well as the latest Windows 10 Creative build, and NVIDIA drivers. I can finally run Valve 's "The Lab" on my #BudgeVRBackPack .
