CXC 2022: AdHouse Books: A Farewell and Appreciation

For 20 years AdHouse Books (2002-2022) was a boutique publishing juggernaut. AdHouse Books is the work and vision of one editor, designer, and publisher — Chris Pitzer. AdHouse Books published 100 books and won and were nominated for awards in the comics profession (Ignatz, Harvey, and Eisner) and the design world (AIGA, Communications Arts, Domtar Paper). Their library of publications is an eclectic mix of sequential and illustrative arts. Pitzer will discuss all things AdHouse Books, how comics evolved during AdHouse Books’ tenure, what it took to survive and thrive over 20 years in the comics industry, the legacy of AdHouse Books, and more with moderator Jim Rugg.
