[n this video, I walk you through how I built a custom picture frame for a laser-engraved image—using the CNC to cut each side of the picture frame out of a piece of scrap walnut. I will also discuss other ways the picture frame could have been made and ask you if yuo want to see those methods demonstrated in a video
I cover:
➡️. Cutting four individual frame pieces using a CNC router
➡️. Hold down method for the frame pieces
➡️. Zeroing of the machine surface and how to avoid getting tape glue on you bits when you use this methof with double sied tap
➡️. Clearing the tabs using a flush bit and a router table
➡️. Using the Painters tape methos to help align the miters during glue-up
➡️. Using a baanding clamp for frame glue-up
I will also discuss other methods that the picture frame could be made and ask if you want to see how I would use these methods.
