Bear Gulch is a stunning, but relatively untraveled, location inside Custer State Park in South Dakota. Long ago, around the turn of the century, a narrow gauge logging railroad ran here. Aside from a few photos, there's very little record of this line, but the railbed is still there from Bear Gulch all the way down to Fairburn. It's amazing that an industrial line would run through such a beautiful area!
Bear Gulch was a cool place to fly! The scenery was incredible! The exposed rock was everywhere and there were even a few small arches! In fact, there's a small arch featured in Spectral Whistles; can you find it?
This piece is another sonata form. Parts of it turned out really nice, but other parts gave me trouble.
Flyover country gets its name from people who never looked down. This is what they missed. Unlike typical ambient videos, this Flight of Flights contains one full hour of unique, non-repeating footage. You are watching a continuous journey across a number of distinct locations.
