West Shore Recreation Area has a great view of Lake Oahe! The paths wind around the bluffs and a few cottonwoods and junipers grow in the draws. All in all, a lovely spot!
I had been running around in the late evening capturing drone footage and this was my last stop. The yucca and prickly pear were in bloom and golden hour had descended on the area. It was just windy enough to get some good motion in the trees, but not too windy for the drone.
I had been going for something a little more folksy. I had just watched A Mighty Wind and, well...
