Last week I shared my process for researching, buying and swatching my new custom watercolors by Daniel Smith. This is a custom selection of colors I made to help me paint the beautiful Scottish Highlands. In this video I'll share how I setup my palettes, how I mix custom colors, making color mixing charts, and in general how I learn about my new colors. I'll touch on the topic of adding mediums such as glycerine and Winsor & Newton watercolor blending medium (one of my favorite mediums for watercolor and gouache). Of course I'll also share some painting!
