The Physical Setting and Seating: The physical surroundings of your classroom have a direct impact on what students experience. Every student should have a comfortable place to sit, a space for their study materials, and a clear view of the teacher. We highly recommend utilizing assigned seating, as it helps teachers learn names quickly, organize small-group activities, separate students who tend to talk to each other, and properly accommodate any students with physical or visual impairments.
