This is my first attempt at making a cat whisker detector for my crystal radios.You can add this to most existing radios or build new and include this.This is a small version, more like the originals. I am working on a larger one for larger detector samples.

MATERIALS USED
- 3/4" (19mm) stainless steel ball (bead)
- 1 spring (to fit shaft)- 1 stainless steel shaft (about 7 cms)
- 1 wood ball (or other insulator)- 2 hold down screws
- 2 screws to secure ball pressure plate
- ball pressure plate (brass or stainless) about 2.5x3cms
- steel wool
- 3D printed part

NOTE: No cats were harmed in the making of this video or detector.
