The Crusader 60 is a 0.6 cubic inch (10cc) model aircraft engine designed by George Genevro, a prolific and highly regarded designer and builder of model aircraft engines. It was described in a series of build articles in the "Home Shop Machinist" magazine in 2005.
The engine can be made from flat bar and round stock and requires no castings. It is similar to the Titan 60 engine that I built in this playlist youtube.com/playlist?list=PLbPzkHRZCQB8uBSFsim70U9hKNhcpp7Xk
In this episode I machine the bronze bush which forms the main bearing for the crankshaft. I also make the propeller driver and the aluminium spinner which serves as a nut to hold the propeller onto the crankshaft.
