The Harborview Aquarium will be sponsored by Crouse Hospital, Onondaga County officials announced on Thursday.
The complete name of the venue will be the "Crouse Health Harborview Aquarium" for at least the next three years. The sponsorship is worth $1.5 million, Onondaga County Executive Ryan McMahon said.
"The significance of this partnership is real. Between the two operations, we have shared missions. When I think of Crouse, I think of families and I think of kids," said McMahon. "Our greatest NICU in Upstate New York serves right with [Crouse Hospital]."
