Make no mistake, the 760 with a Silver Point hunting pellet does maximize its hunting potential. A hit on a cottontail or a large pest bird will knock it down with only 8 pumps. So long as you close to 12 meters (or close to that range), you will succeed. Plink at 7 pumps and hunt with 8.
