The crochet magic circle is also called the adjustable ring, adjustable circle, or magic loop.

To make the crochet magic circle you first need to cross the tail end over the working end of yarn. I like to do this by crossing the two ends over my fingers. After this is completed I use my hook to grab the working end of the yarn by chaining 1. After you chain 1, work 6 more single crochets into the center of the crochet magic circle. Pull the tail end closed to complete the ring.
