In my crochet tutorial today I'll be showing you how to make this crochet border collie applique.

For this pattern you will need any thickness crochet cotton or yarn, I used Scheepjes Catona colours (106) Snow White, (157) Root Beer, (110) Black, (105) Bridal White and (518) Marshmellow. I also used a tiny bit of thinner black cotton. A crochet hook, I used a 2.5mm hook. A darning needle to weave in ends. Sewing thread and needle to stitch the border collie together. Scissors. Sequins for the eyes.
The finished size will be 18cm wide x 16.5cm high (7” wide x 6.5” high) for the larger border collie, using 8 ply crochet cotton. The size of the border collie in Catona will be 12.5cm wide x 12.5cm high (5" wide x 5" high). The medium border collie will be 11cm wide x 10cm high (4.5” wide x 4” high) when using 4 ply crochet cotton. The small border collie will be 7.5cm wide x 7.5cm high (3” wide x 3” high) when using 2 ply crochet cotton.
