The sun-shiny CRISTO FERNANDEZ sits for an interview to celebrate the home release of Sonic the Hedgehog 3, and celebrate all his recent success in Ted Lasso, Transformers, and the films he's producing in Mexico.
Before acting, Fernández began his professional life as a soccer player. However, some physical injuries motivated him to pursue another path and discover new passions.
After finishing his masters program, Fernández set his goals to creating independent projects as an actor, director, writer and producer, so he would have a reel and body of work to show. The plan paid off when Fernández won the role of "Dani Rojas" the beloved and talented AFC Richmond football player, on the multiple Emmy winning television comedy series "Ted Lasso", for Apple TV +. Fernández's performance as Rojas, has given the role a platform of positivity and global inspiration, as well as Latin American representation around the globe.
Audiences were thrilled to see Fernández make his debut in the Marvel Universe with his end scene appearance in "Spider Man: No Way Home", and with the recent announcement of his role as "Wheeljack" in the upcoming "Transformers: Rise Of The Beasts", Fernández is becoming a "go-to" for Hollywood action films.
Fernández in #sonic3 lives out a lifelong dream, playing twins Juan and Pablo in the fictional telenovela 'La Ultima Passion'. Fernández jokes about the fact that for many years before this, he auditioned for telenovelas and never got cast.
In Sonic the Hedgehog 3, Sonic, Knuckles and Tails reunite to battle Shadow, a mysterious new enemy with powers unlike anything they've faced before. With their abilities outmatched in every way, they seek out an unlikely alliance to stop Shadow and protect the planet.
During the interview, Fernández discusses how his work ethic is something he prides himself on, and working with some of the cast of TED LASSO reinforced how he just has to keep creating, keep laughing and keep taking chances that come his way.
