MICHAEL KELLY, star of the celebrated HBO show 'THE PENGUIN', as well as Amazon's 'JACK RYAN' sits for an interview to discuss what we can expect in an explosive second season of LIONESS! (Formerly known as SPECIAL OPS: LIONESS)
Kelly, perhaps best known for his role as Doug Stamper in the Netflix drama series HOSUE OF CARDS has created an amazing brand of quiet intimidation and steadfast characters such as CIA Agent Mike November in the Prime Video thriller series JACK RYAN, and Taylor Sheridan's LIONESS, on Paramount+.
LIONESS, inspired by an actual US Military program, follows the life of Joe (Zoe Saldaña) while she attempts to balance her personal and professional life as the tip of the CIA's spear in the war on terror. The Lioness Program, overseen by Kaitlyn Meade (Nicole Kidman) and Byron Westfield (Kelly), enlists an aggressive Marine Raider named Cruz (De Oliveira) to operate undercover alongside Joe among the power brokers of State terrorism.
Kelly plays Byron Westfield, a man who only reports to the Secretary of State (Morgan Freeman). The show, created by Yellowstone co-creator Taylor Sheridan also stars Zoe Saldana, LaMonica Garrett, Laysla De Oliveira, Dave Annable, Jill Wagner, James Jordan, Stephanie Nur and Nicole Kidman.
