#HarrietMovie is shockingly the only major studio release so far based on the life of the great #HarrietTubman, and that is truly tragic. What might be even more tragic, is after all this time with only made-for-TV movies, that this release would not give us the film her story deserves.
In my #HarrietMovieReview, I discuss the issues this long-awaited bio-pic had, including a bizarre super natural twist, which I did not see coming. One thing that was foreseeable is the solid performance of #CynthiaErivo in the lead, but would that be enough?
