I completed this event earlier this month, and i absolutely loved it! :3 And i also made this edit earlier this month!
I'll start with my experiences with editing, and then move onto my thoughts and impressions on the event.

I had recorded the cutscenes in this event to use for editing purposes.
I got the feeling that i wanted to edit the cutscenes from this event, but i didn't want to use just any random song, i wanted the vibe and the lyrics to *fit!*
Welp, spotify recommended me this song, and i rather quickly felt like, i could use it! the lyrics sorta fit the event in my opinion, but the real ideas started when i looked up the lyrics and realized that the song was released in 2010! Understanding that, it made me realize that, yeah, this definitely feels like a song i'd hear in edits from back in the day, during that time.
And so i decided to make this in a style that i like to call ''2017 meets 2012 meets 2021'' akjsdhsahkd
in the sense that i edit like i did in 2017 or so (as i've been feeling nostalgic about my editing from back then, once again), but add in smaaall things that i think could fit the early 2010's editing style that i remember, and add some splashes of what i do nowadays, too.
Some prominent things that i did some years back were white text on black bars, as well as black and white + the stereoscopic 3d effect. Plus i made this edit in 60 fps. And i did the outro like the ones i used to do back in 2018.
Oh! and how could i forget - i edited this in Vegas pro 14 - at first only because i wanted to use the Ignite plugin and use the pixel sort effect, but my other reason for it slowly transformed into, just it being another way to increase the amount of nostalgia for me ^^
I added a blue glow and some certain overlays that i think reminded me of older edits a little.
In general i wanted this edit to feel nostalgic to me. But still give off the vibe and cold feeling of the song, the feeling of something lurking within.

I noticed that ram previewing in Vegas 14 is slower than in Vegas 18. And rendering was slightly slower maybe, due to it rendering with my cpu and not my gpu.

I feel like parts of this video are a bit chaotic, but perhaps that's okay.
Oh! and i did some masks ^^ very simple and pretty shoddy ones, but yes.
Ah, adding the ''_'' to some text was an accident more or less, bc i was trying to do a long ''-'' before the text, but while thinking of ideas of how to do that without opening up the browser and looking up the long line, i typed ''_'' and then i looked at that for a moment and went ''hey, that actually looks pretty cool'' and kept it owo
I also had way too many text ideas for the ''creeping in my soul'' part ksadhdksaj owo XD
All and all, editing this was very fun, i got most of it done in one evening due to hyperfocusing owo
And this took exactly 28 minutes to render :o

about my thoughts on the event!
I loved the additions to Albedo's lore, and i loved the tension that the story started to take on! The ending left quite the room for theories, i love that.
Felt kinda lazy to do the other smaller things for the events, like the agility tests or the whopperflower challenge, but i did do them mostly to get some more primos and materials for my Albedo.
I couldn't be happier that i got Albedo, i'll definitely continue improving his build and using him as my main right now :3

This semester has been very busy and overwhelming for me, but thankfully my winter break has started now ^^ I may or may not upload a little bit more during this time!
