Kidology | "Creative Work" Is Not A Thing @KidologyCO | Uploaded August 2021 | Updated October 2024, 17 hours ago.
So, according to The School of Life, it is possible to find "creative work" because creativity is not exclusive to particular occupations or domains. You wanna be the next Madonna? Great, but everybody's trying to be a Pop Queen, so you may be better suited to honing those skills and directing them toward...performance arts consultancy? Yes, it's a completely different occupation to the one you intended to go for, but you are essentially utilising the same skills and energy into something which is more likely to provide you with a steady income, enough to pay off your mortgage, and a 0% threat of being cancelled.
I don't like this idea one bit, and I would be intrigued to hear what your personal thoughts are on this. Is it possible to find and cultivate creativity in the modern world as we know it?
