Indigenous Rising is working to create a community space for Indigenous students at The New School. This new affinity group was started by Luke Davis, Associate Director of Operations at Parsons School of Design, and Sariah Park, Associate Director of the MFA Fashion Design and Society at Parsons, who saw the need for these students. Hear from Ben Rybisky (MFA Photography ’23), a current student and member of Indigenous Rising, and Leslie Hampton, an Anishinaabe artist and fashion designer who spoke with the organization, about why building this community at The New School is important.
