Ramon Contreras (BA Politics '23) has been advocating against gun violence since he was a teenager. When seeking professional opportunities, he, alongside Alums Emily Ekman (MA International Affairs ’13) and Alex Gleason (BA Economics ’12 and MA Economics ’13), found a firm that shares their activist values at Mercury public affairs. In light of this year’s rise in gun violence, the three worked closely with Governors and Mayors to prioritize Gun Violence Awareness across the country.
