Once a year, distinguished film and media makers are invited to the School of Media Studies as our Hirshon Artist-In-Residence to conduct master classes and special screenings. For Spring 2023, we are excited to welcome Academy Award-nominated producer, Christine Vachon. Vachon's work includes critically acclaimed films Past Lives, Carol, May December, and Far From Heaven.

During the residency, Vachon led two master classes and hosted 30 Years of Killer Films - an event featuring a screening of one of her films and a Q&A with Vladan Nikolic, Dean of the School of Media Studies.
