![GHOST DANCERS: Finishing the Dark Future! | GW Book Club 16
Kid Zero and his pet snake Lady Venom have come into possession of an illegal data disc from one of the Dark Futures biggest mega-corporations. On the run from bounty hunters the Kid will hook up with hackers, team up with biker gangs, get kidnapped to the Antarctic, and enter a virtual reality like nothing hes seen before!
Were reading Ghost Dancers, the final original novel set in Games Workshops post-apocalyptic-cyber-goth Dark Future setting that was inspired by Mad Max, Blade Runner, Judge Dredd, 80s action & horror movies, and a little bit of Cthulhu.
Written by Brian Stableford under the pen name Brian Craig and released in 1991 Ghost Dancers explores a different corner of the setting with characters introduced in a number of other short stories and novels.
In GW Book Club my friend Stu and I read classic Games Workshop books. Right now were making our way through the 17 original books published by GW Books between 1989 and 1991.

![Chaos Magic | Tuomas Pirinen in Conversation with Jordan Sorcery
During his time at Games Workshop Tuomas Pirinen worked closely with John Blanche to redesign Warhammer Fantasy for its 6th edition, taking it back to its more darkly fantastic roots. The team also created Mordheim, the enduring game of fantasy skirmish.
Amongst the many revolutionary changes ushered in by Tuomas were a redefinition of the forces of Chaos - no longer a mixed army of warriors, beastmen, and daemons, but instead 3 distinct chaotic hosts - as well as a complete overhaul of the magic system.
This is my conversation with Tuomas about those major changes to Chaos and Warhammer magic: the reasons for them and they way they were delivered.
Ive previously spoken with Tuomas on the general development of Warhammer 6th edition and his master work, Mordheim, in an interview available exclusively to my Patrons - join now to gain access to that interview as well as other exclusive conversations and extended discussions with Rick Priestley and Gav Thorpe.

![KONRAD: The First Epic Trilogy In Warhammer Fantasy! | GW Book Club 05
Were reading Konrad, the first adventure in an epic trilogy set in Warhammer’s Old World. There’s chaos mutants, gruff sellswords, female dwarfs, and a sojourn in Kislev, and all of it seems to lead to a destiny planned by the gods - Sigmar or others.
In GW Book Club my friend Stu and I explore classic fiction from the worlds of Warhammer, 40k, and Dark Future.
This tale follows the young Konrad through a series of increasingly random encounters with little to show for it and even fewer answers!
