In this episode of my Unreal Engine 5 Patrol Point series, I show how to fix the issue where AI stop at every patrol point due to Unrealβs basic move node behavior. With this adjustment, AI move seamlessly between points, creating smooth, natural patrols. This also works perfectly with the race system from previous videos, making both patrols and races fluid and polished.
πΉ What You'll Learn:
π Setting up custom editor widgets
π Dynamically handling patrol points
π Linking and managing patrol point relationships
π Automatically selecting new patrol points
π Adding patrol points between existing ones
π Optimizing the patrol point setup for better workflow
