I'm back from my break! I decided to revisit the game Ristar, since I did a song from that game as my very first video game cover, and that was just over a year ago. It was hard to pick a song to do, since many of the songs seem like they have really challenging parts to play, and this song was no exception! I really had to push my playing abilities to do this one, particularly with the lead ones. I even made my own solo-ish type thing that went beyond what I usually do with my playing.

I also said I wanted to try doing 4 videos a month, but I realized trying to do 4 videos in a calendar month, (ie. 4 for July, 4 for August etc.) was a bit much, since I often have a specific deadline for 8-Bit Battlefield and sometimes Dwelling of Duels as well. So I decided rather than caring about how many videos come out any particular month, I'm just gonna try to get 4 every 28-32 days (so basically a month, but not necessarily tied to a specific month by name). This means I should have another 3 out by the 13th of next month!

For the arrangement of this one, I didn't want to venture too far outside the original vibe of the original, since there aren't really much in the way of Ristar covers on YouTube, plus this one ended up being on the shorter side as far as my covers are concerned -- I felt it naturally just wanted two repetitions of the song and that was it. Not to mention being shorter compensated a bit for the difficulty of recording it. :P I think it turned out pretty well!
