Presented in 4K - Canadian Pacific “Empress” 2816 makes its debut on the “Final Spike” tour, as the Canadian Pacific and Kansas City Southern merger reaches its one year anniversary. The 4-6-4 Hudson type steam locomotive was built by the Montreal Locomotive Works in 1930, and is owned and operated by the Canadian Pacific based out of Calgary.

EnRoute from Calgary, Canada to Mexico City, Mexico, I caught a portion of the tour on two separate days earlier this week, between Minneapolis, Minnesota and Chicago, Illinois. Great to see this great looking locomotive working hard on the main line!
