On a recent western Caribbean cruise our cruise ship stopped at the popular destination of Cozumel, Mexico. The Cozumel Mexico cruise ports are some one of the busiest cruise ports in the Caribbean. During our visit, our Royal Caribbean Voyager Class ship docked at the Cozumel International Terminal (Terminal de Cruceros). Next to this port, two Carnival ships docked at the Terminal Maritima Puerta Maya. Each have separate shopping areas and security gates. These Cozumel ports have been developed to accommodate a high volume of visitors. The Terminal de Cruceros port offers an abundance of shopping opportunities as well as large public restrooms, bars and easy access to cabs, busses and rental cars.
