My review of the Jon Favreau summer genre-buster "Cowboys and Aliens". Does this high concept blockbuster live up the the twisted potential the title brings to mind or does it walk off into the sunset alone, never to be heard from again? Watch my review and find out!

*I do not claim any ownership of the song and am merely using it for promotional purposes on behalf of Guster and their music (which I personally love). If any parties would like the video to be taken down and the music removed, please contact me an I will gladly so do. I advise any and all to check out more music by the artist here:

![Beowulf Movie (2007) Scholarly Analysis [HD]
My thoughts on the scholarly debate over the Zemeckis-directed, Gaiman-written movie. These are my thoughts on both the movie itself and the various historical and story problems that have been given rise to by the world of scholarly analysis of the movie. Im not an expert but have taken multiple courses on the text so I think I know my stuff pretty well. Here are my further thoughts that couldnt fit in the video:
I just wanted to mention things I didnt have time to touch on or forgot to say. Firstly, I also dont think that the movie is even being unfaithful as the end of the movie implies that the story is all that lives on in history and one of the ideas of the movie is that reality is never as glamorous as its retellings. So, in theory, this could feasibly be absolutely correct if fol tales are to be believed because the story passed down could have originated in a way similar to this. Secondly, I cant take ANY complaints
saying how this movie was sexist. At this time women were used only as Peace-Weavers so by comparison, this movie was progressive in that it had any female-centric content at all (Im speaking of the part near the end with his other bedmate). Lastly, the time jump was not only necesarry but also an ingenious way of transitioning into the latter portion of the poem, which stands as a very different beast to the former half. I could say more but I dont have the room. =) Message me if you want to discuss further (anytime). Beowulf Movie (2007) Scholarly Analysis [HD]](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/VdlUD_y7v_8/mqdefault.jpg)
