The Kem Kem Formation of Cretaceous North Africa was one of the deadliest environments in Earth’s history. It was packed with gigantic carnivorous theropods like few other geological formations could dream of, ranging from bear-sized abelisaurids to giant heron-crocs like Spinosaurus to sauropod hunters like Carcharodontosaurus. Could Tyrannosaurus rex, the theropod king of North America, survive in this harsh, competitive environment? We’ll be calculating a Thrive or Eaten Alive score from 1-10, based on its performance in three categories: Home, or how it adapts to the new climate and terrain; Hunger, how it finds food; and Hanger, how it deals with competitors. I normally say predators as well, but…this is T. rex, man. Good luck with that. And don’t forget to check out the first Hybrids vs Aliens video, which was recently posted on Overseer’s channel. Madly Mesozoic, Overseer, and I have spent the better part of a year working on this series, and we’re really proud of it.

![Whats The Size Limit Of Crocodiles? Paleontology Analysis
Crocodiles, some of the most vicious predators in our planets history, are known for their size and power. How big did crocodiles get? In this video, Vividen explores how prehistoric crocodyliformes like Sarcosuchus, Deinosuchus, and Purussaurus approached tyrannosaur-level size and what that could mean for the theoretically biggest crocodiles of all time.
