Cordelia Chase is one of the best jossverse characters, and she's a personal favourite of mine and Chris'. Mate, I'm sorry my inspiration to vid can only manage to pull out "just-barely-over-a-minute" videos, but I hope you like it! I hope your Christmas and New Years was awesome, and I wish we could talk more than we've gotten to of late because I miss you heaps man, you're one of my best friends and I can't freak'n wait to vid whatever show you're one day writing for! :D
With this, I tried to be less 'flashy' with effects, and more skippy, and swappy. I know, my language doesn't make sense. I haven't vidded Cordelia in soooooo long, all the scenes felt so fresh, and so I wanted to use as many as possible, and I didn't want heaps of bright white flashes to cause any, you know, fits. Haha. But yeah, I hope it still looks okay. XD
We have to talk soon man. Been toooo long!!
Oh, and I started about 8 different christmas videos. That's how bad my inspiration is. I only just managed to finish this one. Hopefully I can finish the other ones, and you'll have a whoooole lot of Angel/Buffy ones to watch ;)

Spoilers for ARROW SEASON 5 (5x10)
So, Im still over here struggling to deal with the fact that these dumb ass writers killed Dinah Laurel Lance / Black Canary. And Im hopeful — despite a certain up-and-coming storyline involving a random named Tina — the actual person in line to carry out the legacy of the Black Canary is Earth-2 Dinah Laurel Lance, also known as Black Siren. I think Who Are You offered a platform to redeem the character. It posed that question to her, and its up to her to sit with it and figure it out. Does she want to spend the rest of her life in a cage? Does she want to keep getting used by villains like Prometheus and Zoom? Or does she want to live for something greater? Do something better? Hopefully we get to see her redeem, and hopefully they keep the Black Canary to its rightful owner: Dinah Laurel Lance.
Anyway, the idea for this video came when I heard the song. Its called Dark by Siv Jakobsen. I wanted to do something that explored this idea of *our* Laurel being a shadow to Black Siren, and mirroring a path that she could potentially go down. And this song kind of worked in my favour.
Im still pretty hopeful that this version of Laurel will be the next Black Canary. Ive lost hope that Laurel will be brought back, but theres still a part of me that sees them pushing Siren in this direction. Let me know your thoughts on the topic, and I hope you enjoy the video!")
