We're diving into the strange world of copycat wrestling gimmicks.
Pro wrestling history is filled with characters who were recycled, replaced, or completely cloned. The reasons for this happening vary a lot, it could be for corporate reasons, it could be that someone wanted to hand their character to someone else (as seen in the world of Lucha Libre), or it could be bringing back some characters for comic relief. Whatever the case, the final results can be hit or miss.
We'll look at examples such as Doink The Clown (originally played by Matt Osborne but also given to Ray Apollo and others), Sin Cara (played by Mistico and Hunico), The Fake Razor Ramon and Diesel, The Imposter Kane and the nWo version of Sting.
