Reliving The War looks at the entire WWF vs WCW Monday Night War that took place in the mid 90s to early 2000s. With Raw and Nitro airing at the same time every Monday night, fans had a choice to make; tune into Raw to see superstars like Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock and Triple H, or flip over to TNT to see Ric Flair, Scotty Steiner and Kevin Nash. At this point in the game (the year 2001) the choice was pretty obvious.
This week two unlikely tag teams get formed for the Raw main event; Stone Cold Steve Austin teams up with Triple H to face The Rock and Kurt Angle. With Austin and Triple H being on strict orders not to hurt eachother, it'll be interesting to see if they can act as a tag team. Also on Raw Matt Hardy faces Intercontinental Champion Chris Jericho, and the Brothers of Destruction go to war against The Dudley Boyz.
Over on WCW Nitro the storyline remains the same; Ric Flair and Scotty Steiner want to rid the company of all the top babyfaces. Right now Kevin Nash is the company's biggest good guy, and tonight Nash gets himself yet another match against Big Poppa Pump. Ernest Miller actually books Scott Steiner in 3 separate matches this week; he'll face 4 cruiserweights in a single match, he'll then face Diamond Dallas Page, and he'll also face Kevin Nash (and a mystery partner) if he makes it to the main event.
