Round 3 of the XWF is here, and this time we’re finishing Jimmy Hart’s infamous DVD box set once and for all.
XWF Episode 3 features AJ Styles vs Kid Kash, Curt Hennig and Ian Harrison taking on Buff Bagwell and Vampiro, and Josh Mathews somehow defeating Horace Hogan. Along the way, we’ve got terrible promos, baffling booking decisions, Brian Knobbs explaining things we watched five minutes earlier and the final match the XWF submitted to television executives in the hope of securing a TV deal. We’ll also hear Hulk Hogan answer questions in front of a green screen because apparently watching the wrestling wasn’t punishment enough.
This is the final part of my XWF review series. Episodes 1 and 2 are already available on the channel for anyone wanting the full story of one of professional wrestling’s strangest failed promotions.
