Neeraj Chopra will begin his Commonwealth Games 2026 campaign on 30 July in the men's javelin throw qualification.

He heads into the Games with a season's best of 85.69m and will be joined by Rohit Yadav and Yash Vir Singh, both have registered their lifetime bests this season of 87.05m and 83.72m, respectively.

The Indian trio will face a formidable field featuring World Champion Keshorn Walcott, Sri Lanka's Rumesh Pathirage, Grenada's Anderson Peters, Australia's Cameron McEntyre, and several other top javelin throwers.
