A great thank you goes to the user AGWhiteman(youtube.com/user/AGWhiteman/feed?filter=2) that told me about the bonus screens with the POWs.
I missed a couple of them but i included the rest 6!
This is "Commando" for the Atari 7800 released back in 1989 by Atari.
I always wanted to make a longplay for this game as it's my favorite on the system.
It's an absolutely lovely conversion of Capcom's arcade game.
The gameplay has been upgraded with the addition of two weapons(the machine gun and the knife) which can be found in different places around the areas.
The machine gun gives you the autofire option and increases the firing rate.
The knife gives you the ability to kill enemies when touching them.
The graphics according to the machine's standards, are very well drawn and they scroll and move across the screen smoothly and fast.
The sound couldn't have been better.
Commando's cartridge is one of the two cartridges (the other is Ballblazer) that has built in the Pokey sound chip that gives the 7800 the ability to produce both sound effects and music at the same time.
The controls are responsive but a bit tricky sometimes. It only takes a couple of games to get use to them.
The difficulty level can be selected at the title screen and in a few words i would describe it as tricky and challenging but not impossible.
The photos at the beginning of the video were shot by me as it happens to own an original copy of this beautiful game.
