This is a compilation of timelapse clips that I was lucky enough to record of the awesome Comet Neowise ... the first few are early am as it was rising and the last few are the second eve that I saw it setting.
highlights:
0- Neowise rising over Elmwood Marina, Greilickville(near Traverse City) lit by the moon!
1:12 Neowise rising over DH Day Farm barns surrounded by the Sleeping Bear Dune National Lakeshore(SBDNL) ... also lit by the moon
1:41 ISS-International Space Station flies over the DH Day Farm barns
1:52 Neowise setting over SBDNL - looking NNW over South Manitou Island
2:12 Neowise setting as the Northern Lights begin!
... at this point I could not see the Aurora with my unaided eyes and so
did not know to keep the lapse going : ( I was getting eaten by
mosquitos and flies and it appears in hindsight that it affected my
judgement : \

Look to the NW about an hour after sunset, under the Big Dipper ... enjoy ...
